31 Day Writing Challenge #2: Day 10 - 'iTunes'

"Who's idea was it to let Justin Bieber and Kanye West buy iTunes?" Daria raged as she scrolled through endless streams of self-indulgence and self-promotion of the two self-important jackwangs who had removed all music not recorded by themselves or their friends. 

"Oh look, Justin must be feeling bitter about the break up again. No Selena Gomez available." Daria rolled her eyes at the pettiness.

"Did you notice Beyonce's gone too?" Elle asked, not looking up from her magazine. "Kim must be feeling disrespected again." Elle's tone illustrating how little compassion she had for the dramatic mole hills the celebrities were turning into mountains.

"Seriously? That's the third time this month." Daria shook her head disparaging.

"Eurgh." she groaned, "There's nothing I want to download. I'll just play from my library."

"Mmmmm..." Elle wasn't really listening, so gave a lack-lustre noise of agreement.

"For fuck sake! They've deleted all the country music off my phone! Oh and look! The dickheads have recorded another collab album, and here it is, magically downloaded onto my phone. What the hell do they have against country music? Oh yeah, Swiftie."

Taylor Swift had managed to severely piss off both iTunes owners (and West's demanding other half) and thus, an entire musical genre was eradicated from the world's largest download store.
